Main Task: Titles (5)

After we got the feedback I worked a bit on the titles. Our teacher said, they would be difficult to read. We decided, that we want to change them, although we have been already happy with them. We know what the titles say, so it is always easy to read it for us. But if people, who do not know the movie, say, they can not read them, we think we should change them, because it is important that the audience can read them very easily. Below you can see a picture of a title before.

I worked on them. Before: Black title and outer glow in white. After: Now there is a two pixel white stroke around the outside as well which makes the contrast better. I also made them a bit bigger. Now it should be no problem to read them, even if people watch the movie in a small window and sit far away from the screen. Below you can see a picture of the latest version.

Main Task: Version 6.0 Feedback

Today we were given constructive criticism from two of the media studies teachers from our school. They both looked at our finished product and informed us of what they think we need to change to maximise the grade we hope to achieve.

The following things were pointed out by the teachers:
1. The music and the graphics are good
2. The voice over used for two of the characters still sounds as though it has been recorded inside even though in the film the characters appear outside
3. The titles are too difficult to read
4. The editing needs to be improved so it is sharper

We are now going to use the following lesson and any other time we have to fix these things and improve our film so that we can achieve the best mark possible.
