These are some of the screen shots from films that have inspired us. We want the audience to feel a sense of mystery and intrigue when they watch our film opening. We also want to convey that these characters are not just any criminals, that you find on the street, but sophisticated and charming so the audience feels that although they are planning a crime we still like them. They commit the crime so elegantly that almost wish you could do it.
This is a screen shot from 21.These are meant to be the bad guys but because they are doing something bad for the good of other people we see them in a good light.
These are scenes from Ocean's Eleven where they are planning to rob a casino. Although they are committing a crime we like them because they are funny and smart.
They are dressed in expensive looking clothes and jewellery so they look "cool".(James)
